As a starting point, establish and maintain your profile on ORCID.
University of Galway Research Repository is the digital collection of open access scholarly publications from the University of Galway. The repository collects, preserves and makes freely available scholarly communication, including peer-reviewed articles, working papers and conference papers created by University of Galway researchers. Where material has already been published it is made available subject to the open-access policies of the original publishers.
University of Galway Research Repository is crawled by Google Scholar, Google, and OAIster, and it can expose your research to the widest possible audience.

Open Access to Research Outputs
University of Galway’s policy on Open Access to Research Outputs aims to promote open access to the University’s publications. Authors of peer-reviewed articles and peer-reviewed conference papers resulting from research carried out at the University of Galway must deposit a copy in the University of Galway Research Repository. The repository enables easy discovery of publications through global search engines such as Google, and it complements IRIS by linking from author profiles to the full text of University publications.
IRIS, the University of Galway's Institutional Research Information System, enables researchers and academic staff to maintain an up-to-date Researcher Profile to showcase their research expertise on our webpages.

The system is used to collate the University’s research outputs for institutional reports, and university rankings and to create Researcher Profile pages on University of Galway school and institutional websites.
The publicly available Researcher Profiles are used by academics, industry, and R&D organisations to identify potential collaborators for research projects and by potential students to identify supervisors.
